This place is a gem in the yucky, soulless tackiness of Vegas. I was marooned in Sin City for a week with work and really enjoyed popping out to Go Raw. Its about 10-15 minutes in cab from 'the strip' and there are buses.

The cafe is in the middle of a residential area and part of a small set of shops called The Lakes Center. It is very hippy rather than modern chic. They have a bookshop and racks of health supplements.

The food is really raw - they cook nothing. So the menu is mock burgers, fries and the likes + lots of smoothies and juices.

I really loved the food and the staff. it was really tasty and fresh... and a really great 2 hours from the intellectual black-spot that is Vegas... it was so worth the $30 cab from my hotel.

If you go - check out the dog pampering centre a few doors down - very funny.
