Really nice cafe that's run by volunteers. Cosy environment, with lots to read. Also there's a little shop attached that sells lots of vegan things. They also have a second hand book fair on weekends upstairs.

I've been visiting the greenhouse for a couple of years. It's a great little organic veggie/vegan cafe and as well as this, they recycle all their waste and keep packaging and water use down to a minimum. With all the effort they put into being eco-friendly you'd think the menu would suffer- not the case. they serve amazing vegan cakes, lovely soups and sandwiches and have a few daily special hot meals.

The greenhouse is ethical, friendly and offers great lunches- visit soon!

Having recently moved to Norwich, I was thrilled to find the Greenhouse website, and restaurant.

I pop in usually on a Saturday morning, when in town, shopping. The staff are mainly volunteers and there is a lovely friendly atmosphere in the place. I usually have a herbal tea, and some of their fab vegan cake, but they do lots of other things on the menu. They also have a great shop for getting all your wholefoods and a lovely courtyard for sitting out amongst the herbs in the summer. Well worth a visit!
