An excellent restaurant and take-away, the best Chinese restaurant I've been to in the UK for consistently excellent food. Friendly staff, very reasonable prices, I stop by every chance I get! Their web site lists all the menu items with pictures and prices. Thoroughly recommended.

I was so lucky to find this place a few years ago and keep returning!!! It is absolutely delicious and even my omivore boyfriends (yes there have been a few over the years ;p) have loved the food here!!!
I love being able to eat veggie prawn toast!!
Sweet and sour pork balls
All different types of mock meat excellently cooked... just talking about it makes me hungry!

Veggie World is a wonderful wonderful find. The menu is mostly vegan bar one or two dishes.
The staff are warm, friendly, courteous, honest, and hard working. They enjoy being of service to you.
The menu is extensive, the food has always been nothing short of delicious anytime I have visited. The food has an abundance of flavour, good texture for the crispy dishes, and expertly cooked. The juices from the drinks menu are very good.I can recommend the carrot, orange apple and ginger.
Veggie World don't have a licence to sell alcoholic drinks but are very happy for you to bring your own.Luckily there is an Off Licence opposite if you want alcohol.
The prices are reasonable. They are also supplier of the products they use so there are some items on the menu you can purchase, and they have a brochure of such items, just ask them they are happy to help. They also do a wonderful Take Away service. They are presently open from Wednesday to Saturday.
There is ample parking round the back of the restaurant to the left and some in the street just infront, although it would be wise to double check you have the correct parking bays as it is patrolled by parking officers frequently.
Overall an excellent and very satifying place to dine

Fantastic food
Worth the trip - we travelled about 35 ish mile each way. The food was great, some new types of food for me.
I recommend the veggie chicken satay and the veggie chicken balls!
Staff were very friendly and the place was low key, but busy.
Definitely worth a repeat visit. Highly recommended

What a fantastic restaurant! We drove the 30 odd miles to eat at Veggie World and it was well worth it. The host was welcoming and helpful, the food was sumblime. There was so much choice, a real change for a vegan in a meat-eating world. Best vegan Chinese food I've had since I lived in Beijing. Would 100% recommend Veggie World.

An absolutely delicious lunch after Ikea visit--we had been advised to try this eatery and were not at all disappointed.Lots of vegan stuff too--yum yum---- wish we lived nearer.

Fully vegetarian and vegan,as are all the staff, this restaurant is fabulous for those of us who missed those chinese meals of 'pork' balls and 'beef'in black bean sauce. Very very clean and very very friendly. Large stunning menu and I promise you will return again and again.

What a find! This little gem in an otherwise quite scabby location is amazing!!
The restaurant itself is reminiscent of a very clean cafe with really friendly and helpful hosts (not something you usually find in a cafe!)
Having a purely veggie menu with so many choices is absolutely fab but it will take you a while to decide what to have. Whatever your choice you will NOT be disappointed.
We can really recommend the starter combo for 2 it was delish! especially the mock chicken satay skewers (takes a while to get used to the fact that it isn't actually meat). Add to that the vegetable dumplings (like the ones in Wagamama) and we were in taste heaven.
The rice and noodle portions are huge, the veggie chicken kung po had a nice kick to it and the veggie chicken satay was also rather yummy.
After the meal the lady owner took us into the stockroom to show us all the different kinds of mock meat that they had used in our dishes and explained they were all available to buy either in the restaurant or on-line which is really convenient.
The staff were brill, the food great and if we are in the area again we would definitely go there again.
All in all 10/10 and what a little treasure of a place!

I don’t suggest you make a four hour round trip to visit this place, as we did one Sunday afternoon, but if you are in the area it is certainly worth a detour.
After a nightmare journey in pouring rain, we arrived at this café style restaurant starving and cold. Unfortunately the Formica tables and rather austere surroundings did little to warm us but the welcome given to us by our charming hosts soon put those thoughts to the back of my mind.
I ordered jasmine tea to warm me and pondered over the long menu. Everything is veggie and they plan to be completely vegan very soon. Our party of six ordered a selection from the menu and the mock meats were definitely the successful choices. The non alcoholic wine was a welcome surprise for me.
We spoke to the young owners later and they also run a successful importing business supplying mock meats to several restaurants in England.
If you live nearby, this place is definitely worth a visit. If I lived nearby I know I would rather get a takeaway from here than anywhere else.
