We found this by chance had a great lunch time meal. So good we booked a table for the following evening, the owner wasn't open that night but did for us! For me who gets so bored trying to find good vegi food - thought i had gone to veg heaven - the food was fab, the atmosphere great. Thanks Pea Souk for a great meal. PS you must book a table as tiny place. Loz and Alan x

Visited for evening meal with two vegans - they thought they had died and gone to heaven. Fabulous food and friendly service, even non veggies were very happy with their dinner. I definitely recommend and we will be visiting again.

Tiny, cramped, (seats 15 people at a push), Bohemian diner. Hidden in a small alley off the main street. Wonderful food! Don't leave without experiencing the Carrot Cake!

Found this cafe signed off the main street. Had a lovely veggie burger with all the extras and then a lovely piece of cake. The food was great and filling. The cafe also had two different daily newspapers (times and guardian) and owner was very friendly. I would recommend this place in an instant and will be returning on my next visit to Cornwall.

Lovely cafe / restaurant, the food is brilliantly cooked, and the service very friendly. The place is very small so I would imagine you would have to book at busy times. I had a vegan burger and a bean chili which were both excellent and very filling. There is plenty on offer for vegans. Prices are very reasonable and the atmosphere is lovely. Very highly recommended.

Reading other reviews, I can't believe I went to the same place. It is really tiny, with just 3 tables, and unforgettable, mis-matched decor. Having ordered the vegan BLT on ciabatta, I was told they had run out of ciabatta, and chose French bread instead. However, it arrived on ordinary toast, which was burnt. My husband's burger bun was also burnt to a point where it was almost inedible. The salad dishes ordered were fresh and varied, and the coffees and vegan hot chocolate were good, and served in generous sized cups. There were two ladies serving, once of whom was clearly stressed, rudely ordering her younger colleague around, no please or thank yous, and she was curt and unfriendly to us. Her attitude made us feel uncomfortable and unwanted. Whilst there, another diner returned her cake because she found mould on it. Not suprisingly, I would not recommend Pea Souk or return there.

Only just moved to Falmouth, but can tell this is going to be one of my favourite places. A wide range of food, with some especially yummy looking breakfast options! Friendly service too

I have wanted to visit Pea Souk since hearing of it opening a few months ago, and at last we did. It did not disapoint. Fabulous mezze plate, and the best carrot cake ever, which I savoured so slowly, that my husband thought he might get some. No way!

Have just come back from the pea souk.... Excellent food. We shared a mezze and a huge plate of fresh salads..then a carrot cake..although my partner did not get his fair share of that! Everything tasted so fresh, lots of choice...we will definately return...highly recommended, well done!

What a hidden little gem! I visited with my partner, and the food was wonderful. We booked ahead for a Saturday evening (essential to ensure the food will be prepared for you); they are open several nights per week. We had a delicious 3 course mezze meal of about 4 different starters with freshly made flat bread (I know it was freshly made as we saw it being kneaded!). The main course consisted of around 6 dishes and the dessert comprised about 4, plus mint tea. We also had some lovely organic wine. We left very very full. The owner clearly puts a lot of love into the food she produces and there appeared to be a good selection of dishes for vegans. If we lived closer we would definitely visit loads.

I went to Pea Souk today for the first time and had a lovely avocado and goats cheese sandwich to take away - really good food. Cute place. Amazing range in the menu - can't wait to go again!

Pea Souk is a new cafe run by a Cordon Vert graduate. We specialise in Mezze with a set menu in the evening ( thurs and sat) and Indian Thali on friday. There's also lots of delicious homemade goodies durung the day. We use organic produce where possible. We are very small and cosy and booking for the evenings is necessary. Please come and visit us.
