What a wonderful surprise to discover this veggie/vegan cafe in Bridlington! Gail gave us a very warm welcome to their colourful, art filled cafe and explained which dishes were 100% vegan. I chose a spicy vegetable tart, which was served with delicious creative salads, my husband had a veggie curry with dhal and chutney. Our teenage daughter opted for the chestnut and cashew fritters with chutney and the salads. We sampled each others' meals and agreed they were all equally delicious. We finished with carrot cake and a date and cashew scone, served with sunflower spread. Peter, the chef was equally friendly and it was easy to feel the passion he was filled with when we chatted about recipes.

Certainly will be back to sample more delights - the menu changes throughout the week, so good news for vegans who usually get offered one dish in a cafe if they are lucky! No beans on toast here!!

Outstanding veggie food with a personal service.Really happy to have found this special place and would recommend any genuine vegetarians who don,t eat meat and fish to visit this little gem.

Seasalt & Passion is now 100% vegetarian / vegan. Serving delicious handcrafted food, including 100% home baked bread from speciality organic flours, scones, cakes etc.

Friendly staff and groovy surroundings, with an art gallery which you can browse while you eat.

Using local and organic, free range, fair trade products and ingredients wherever possible.

Cafe hire and catering available for your dinner party or other event.

What a lovely friendly place - a colourful oasis serving some of the most original and delicious veggie food I have eaten in many years.

I'm lucky - I live here!

The servings are generous: so take care to leave plenty of room after one of Peter's attractively-spiced curries (or his chilli or an interesting pie) for that white choc- and-cardamom cheesecake or one of Gail's cakes (maybe with lime and chilli drizzle!).

Low prices too. Drop by if you're in town. It's close to the sea and the new Spa.

Seasalt And Passion is a deli style cafe and art gallery situated in Bridlington offering healthy and tasty food by friendly staff, in a relaxed, arty atmosphere.

With an ever changing, highly tempting, eat in or take away 95% vegetarian menu, and fairtrade coffee (and tea). Also selling a range of finest quality artisan pickles, chutneys, oils and vinegars which are made on the premises.

Tucked away on West Street, a minute’s walk from both the Spa and harbour, it’s certainly not a run of the mill seaside cafe. Visually it’s amazing with it’s colourful decor and really unusual 'outsider’ and folk style artwork. The atmosphere is relaxed with a 'world’ music track playing in the background. Authentic and quirky - definitely worth a visit if you’re in Bridlington and want something that bit different.
