Finding myself at a loose end in Plymouth, I headed to Mayflower Street to try the Samphire Brasserie only to find it closed on Mondays, so thought I'd revisit Reggie Perrins. I know I have posted on this restaurant before however the food is so good I had to write another review. I started with the Kachori, Mixed Vegetables and Lentils, lightly spiced in pastry, served with chutney and salad. OMG, this was the best starter. This was followed with Kerala Vegetables with Garlic Rice and a chapatti. The curry was coconutty but not anything like a Korma. It was lush, as was the garlic rice, which I had never had before. This together with a glass of wine came to less than 14, you can't go wrong at Veggie Perrin's, so get down there and check it out, you won't be disappointed!

Probably one of the best curries I've had. An absolute pleasure.

Btw, the website is at veggieperrin.co.uk not dot com as shown above.

(Thanks. Now correct. Ed)

I am in Plymouth on business and being at a loose end, I thought I might check out a veggie restaurant from the site. This place came out top of the search and I'm glad it did. A fantastic 100% vegetarian indian restaurant. The place is nothing fancy to look at but the food was amazing. Definitely worth trying if you find yourself in Plymouth

By far the best vegetarian restaurant I have ever encountered. Quietly unassuming but always welcoming and consistently high quality Gujurati food. Subtle flavourings but also powerful spicy offerings. Samosas to die for. Suddenly becoming better known particularly amongst the burgeoning university and business community. Don't miss the take away and home catering options.

This is the only totally vegetarian place left in Plymouth now. I love this place the food is delicious and very reasonably priced. Bill the owner is just lovely.

This place is fantastic. 100% vegi. Run by a South Indian family, the wife does the cooking. Each dish has a different flavour, which is often not the case for the vegi options in British Indian restaurants. Cheap too, we are usually stuffed to the brim for £10 each.
