Great place to stay! Lovely breakfasts- veggie sausages, tofu, mushrooms, tomatoes-Yum! Delicious evening meals- lots of vegan ideas to try at home. Not far from the Cwm Carn Forest Drive with all the mountain bike trails and great walks- we climbed up to the fort and had views over the Bristol channel- and the Visitor centre is open most of the year so we stopped there for food, drink and a rest. Grace and Alun were very welcoming and told us a lot about the places where we walked. The place has a great atmosphere- it's an old Welsh Longhouse- comfortable four- poster bed too!Highly recommended!

This must be the best place I've ever stayed in. The vege breakfast was delicious as was the fresh fruit salad and organic yoghurt. I would recommend Awen to to anyone even if they're not vegetarian. IT'S THE BEST!!!

An interesting, comfortable and welcoming B&B that has no trouble producing a tasty, filling vegan breakfast and evening meal. Grace and Alun are genuinely committed to offering an eco friendly stay without the hair shirt. A great place to get away from it all set halfway up a Welsh hill.

This friendly place has veggie owners who provide a full veggie cooked breakfast - veggie sausage, free range egg, beans and mushrooms - and freshly baked home made bread (with spelt flour on request for those on special diets.) Vegan sausages on request. In addition, they serve a selection of fresh fruit salad.

Awen is a small B&B located in a 16th century Welsh longhouse high on a hillside overlooking the Ebbw Valley. It is close to many popular walking and cycling trails (eg Cwmcarn)
