I don't find this place vegan friendly at all. It's a nice pub and they sell Westons ciders, but the last time I asked about vegan beers in here, the barmaid could not have been much more dismissive. We had a laugh about it at the time - but imho it's not vegan friendly.

Good selection of cask ales in excellent condition.

Nice pub,friendly service and my kids were allowed in.

However,I must say that the food wasn't particularly special, and the portions were small in view of the prices.

A wonderful SMOKE-FREE veggie friendly pub in the centre of Shrewsbury. Home made food, freshly prepared on the premises. Usually three vegetarian options,which when we went were a Canelloni, Curry and a Risotto. Full menu available Mon-Sun 12 - 2.15pm and Mon-Sat 6 - 8.30pm.

Excellent selelction of fine wines and cask ales available. Selected for Good Beer Guide 2003/4, featured in Good Pub Guide 2004, awarded West Shropshire CAMRA Pub of the Year 2002/3, Cask marque awarded and in CAMRA 2006 Good Beer Guide.
