A French restaurant in a veggie guide? Nearly all French cheeses are not veggie, but once they know you don't want to eat them, it's plain sailing. The three hour vegetarian garden tasting menu is hard to beat. I had one of the best dishes I've ever had here - char grilled potato gnocchi with lightly fried courgette flowers - exquisite. The restaurant is smart but not pompous; service is attentive but not intrusive. Sheer indulgence, but worth every penny. Bread tomorrow.
